Well I was thinking it might be time to fire this thing back up.

I have missed blogging. I don't know what I will write about everyday. I don't have a theme. It's just me and my ranting.

Today I'm at work wondering about all the things that I could be doing on the beautiful day outside. I want to be out in the sun. I want it to be a lot warmer but I'm taking what I can get for now. After the horrible Iowa winter that cursed our part of the state this year I am happy to say that most of the snow is gone and that the grass is getting green. : ) It makes for a happier me.

That rolls over into the new philosophy in life. "Don't worry, be happy!!!" I have made it part of my daily mantra. And it graces the face of my phone everyday. Speaking of phones and looking at the last post I made on here over a year ago. That is not my phone. This is:

And I love it!!! I sometimes wish that I would have gotten the gray one instead of the red because of all the very cool covers that they have now. But for now I'm still loving it one year later. I have added over 300 songs so it now serves as my ipod/mp3 player. It also keeps me up to date on all facebook and email business. Hahaha. As if I need help with that. I hate to say it but I am a facebook addict.

Well, let's see what happens next. I hope to blog more often and hopefully be more entertaining to you all!

Let's hope I can make more than one post in March!

Not feeling that loving feeling!

I'm a BIG hater of the V-day holiday. It's a long running thing for me. And not just because I am single, but because I just flat out hate it. I've had boyfriends on V-day and he bought me flowers and candy and all that shit. However, I am still a SUPER HATER!!
I think that if you really love someone that you should by them flowers on a random day when they aren't expecting it. When it's more of a suprise than a requirement.

I'm sorry I will quit my ranting now.

In other news. The dealership that I have been working with on finding me a car has informed me there is a chance that they might be getting one in this week. So keep your fingers crossed and toes too becuase I really would like something different!!!

i'm a bad blogger

So I haven't blogged for months and I feel like I had nothing new to say. I've been car shopping and think that I finally narrowed it down to what I want to get. The 2008 Ford Escape with a V6 and 4WD. Also in this beautiful black!!

I've also been house shopping in the new year as well. We will see if it leads anywhere and I will let you know the out come. I hope that everyone's new year is going well and I will try to report back here again soon.

What is the style of your home?

I'm stealing this idea because it totally got me thinking about what I would classify my style. So far this is what I have come up with and I don't know what to name it...

I like a little of everything. However, if I bought all the things that I love my house would have this totally mashed up, mixed up, totally one big mess. I love big slouchy couches: all leather and nail heads (very ranchy).

I love modern art.

However, I love black and whites of any kind but more specifically nature b&w's.
I'm a huge fan of Ansel Adams...he rocks at life!


I can't help but being a hunting girl too who loves to have deer heads hangin' on the wall.


I am also a huge Freak!!

I love this desk from IKEA it's so functional!

I love antiques too, and I own a few cool ones. Like my awesome refinished trunk.

But for the most part I would say my house is leaning on the country side (not cutesy country though). Or maybe I should just call it rustic. I like the idea of a log home filled with big furniture and a fireplace. But I want all the antiques too. I don't have it now but maybe someday?!?!?! A girl can only hope!
