Basketball - My cousin Zach

Went to my cousins game tonight. It was a serious nail biter. Tied up with only 30 seconds to go. We won by 1 point with only 4.2 seconds left. It was so great. I can't wait to go to state down in Des Moines on March 3rd.

yesterday's fog

Yesterday morning was so foggy and the trees had this wonderful frost all over them.

They were perfect so I thought I would share. This little dot is the sun. Super foggy.

Just another snowy windy day here in northern Iowa. It's funny how things change so fast here. Yesterday was a beautiful 30 degree day and today we have 40mph winds, a couple inches of snow, it makes for a nasty day.

So, on another note I had a great date on friday night with "the teacher." We had a nice dinner and sat and talked for almost two hours. Then went bowling where I won't lie, I did win!!!! I'm a little too competitive to let a guy win, even thought I thought about it. Any way as you can tell from the name I have dubbed this date he is a teacher (high school ag). He is 28, so that is also new for me. I like the age difference, I enjoy the solid feel of what could be. However, for now I just want to have fun.

Anyway, just thought I should leave an update on the happenings in my life. Have a great week.

I live next to a lake and all I can say that it is just the most beautiful place all year round. I can't wait for spring and summer too bad it will be a couple of months still. Spring won't hit until mid April and we still might get snow even then. I hope it comes sooner and warmer. As you can see in these dreary pics that it was snowing here again today.
