WARNING....MASSIVE POST AHEAD
This post is filled with pictures of the water...raging water...rip roaring raging water that has cut our pour little state to pieces.

This is the spillway/dam at the lake. I have never in my life seen this much water pour over it. look at the water line on the wall of the above picture.

These stairs used to be full they have been washed out. You can see that the water is still all the way up to the stairs. Normally the water is about 8 feet from the stairs.

Looking back at the dam from the stairs you can't see it because there is too much mist coming off the pouring raging waters.

Back at the dam from the bottom of the washed out stairs.

The walking path that leads to the cement culverts that go over the creek. This path was obviously a raging river just days ago.

The cement culvert walkway to cross the creek is no longer visible. With red tape accross it to block anyone from trying to cross.

More misty spillway shots.

From the top of the dam looking over the ledge. It looks like the Colorado River right now...EEK!!

So, much water.

And look how peaceful (kind of) it look just down stream a little ways.
Now, we are off to the rock quarry and the creek that flows from it...this is the driveway to get back to the digging and crushing machines. I don't think they will be going back there for a few days.

The pits are usually full but this water that is closest to the road is not part of the pit.

and the creek that is traveling away from the pits are regularly 10 feet to 12 feet wide.

This is what they look like right now.

Please God, Please, no more rain!!!!
P.S. It's forecast to rain today...and guess what...it is!
